Waverley and Hewlett Packard

The Partnership between Waverley and Hewlett-Packard dates back to 1990, when a strategic opportunity for both companies to pioneer the delivery of open systems solutions to the National Health Service emerged. This first project entailed the installation and commissioning of HP9000 systems in each of 68 of the original FHS Organisations to run what is commonly known as “The Exeter Application”. Waverley is proud of the fact that all those customers have stayed with Waverley, going through several changes with us as the application has been developed and HP technologies have advanced. We are also pleased to say that the majority of originally non-HP systems have converted with us to the HP platform.

In 1993, in collaboration with Hewlett-Packard, the Waverley Partner Program was established. It is a program aimed at providing specialist pre and post sales support to Application Providers, Systems Integrators and Service Providers working in the Healthcare and Manufacturing marketplaces. This activity has enabled Waverley to add many new names to our client list, covering a range of manufacturing businesses from SME to large organisations, and in the NHS, from PCT’s, through Mental Health Trusts, to some of the largest Acute Trusts in the country.

Waverley is a Hewlett-Packard Preferred Partner for the Unix and Intel based product ranges. Our organisation is dedicated to the sales of Hewlett-Packard products and services, with both our sales and technical teams holding several HP Preferred Partner Accreditations covering the full range of both server and storage technologies.
